Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress popular for her role as Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama' series "Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". Additionally, she's well-known for her role as the lead for her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven years old. The aunt of her mother, who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children was a big help in landing her one small part on the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. When she graduated of Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness and landed roles on the small screen and big. Besides being an actress, Martin is an accomplished photographer and dancer. Being a mom to two kids, she's been named the national spokesperson for Lupus. Martin has promoted awareness of this disease ever since her sister's death from the illness at age 19.
